Old-school to the bone. Here is how it plays.
The MMORPG you remember. Tab-target combat, classes, professions, gear and the grind, built new where it counts.
Everything is a skill. Your class is where you start, not a cage. Learn the rest from trainers out in the world.
Tab-target with auto-attack on a global cooldown. Pull, position, manage your resource and your cooldowns. Classic-style. The climb is earned, not handed to you.
Ellaris is a multiverse. Every world you climb is its own place, with its own look and rules, all on our own engine. From blocky voxel frontiers to lush, lifelike kingdoms, the higher you go the stranger and more beautiful it gets.
World after world toward a summit no one has reached. Who is Aaron, what watches from above, and how far the world really goes. The climb is the story.
Living AI inhabitants are coming to Ellaris, from the makers of VoxelMind, the AI that already runs NPCs in Minecraft today. They hold a memory and a reputation: help the smith and he knows you next time, cross the wrong people and word travels. The world reacts to who you have been.
Three are playable now in the early build. The rest are on the way. Whichever you pick, your class is just where you start.
Plate and fury. Hold the line, soak the blows, hand them back twofold.
Playable nowCaller of storm, tide and flame. Fragile up close, devastation from afar.
Playable nowLight to mend, shadow to end. Keep the party alive, or the enemy silent.

On the wayCurses, decay and bound horrors. Rot your foes from afar and feed on what falls.
On the wayEvery class has three specs, each a different way to play, from holding the line to burning it down. Pick your role, then build your bar from a spellbook that never stops growing.

Holy restoration. Mend deep wounds with pure light.
Step from support to threat with ranged shadow damage.
Learn them out in the world. Pull from the land, turn raw into rare, feed the economy. One of them even opens the world editor itself.

Earn it and the world editor opens. Raise buildings, lay out farmland and farming infrastructure, and shape whole worlds, voxel or lifelike, on the same engine the game runs on. No other MMORPG does this.
Ellaris is not one world, it is a multiverse. The eight worlds you climb are not reskins of one another. Each is its own place, with its own look, its own rules and its own feel, all running on our own engine.
Our world editor makes almost anything possible: blocky voxel frontiers, lush lifelike kingdoms, whatever a world wants to be. And the higher you climb, the stranger and more beautiful it gets, each world above the last.
One multiverse · Many worlds · Climb to see them allThe first worlds are simple and stylized. Each world above looks and feels richer than the last, until the highest reach a beauty past anything real. We get better with every world we build.
And nothing is ever lost. Every world we build stays standing, so the whole journey of Ellaris is kept forever, world by world.
One world, everyone on the same board. The game keeps score of how far you climb, and the greatest names are carved into Ellaris for good.
Hundreds of feats to chase, from your first kill to the deepest world reached. Firsts, milestones, and the long grinds only the stubborn ever finish.
One world, one ladder. Ranked by how far you have climbed, your total XP, and your Elo. The only question that matters: who got the furthest?
The top of the ladder is enshrined in-game for good. Reach it and your champion stands in the Hall of Fame for every newcomer to see.
Here is the shape of it, honestly. What you can play today is an early slice, rough edges and all, but it grows every week.
A single world keeps everyone together. Server flavors come later: PvP or peaceful, hardcore or normal.
Ironward, Elementalist and Veilkeeper are playable now. The other six are on the way.
AI inhabitants are on the way from the makers of VoxelMind, so the world feels alive even solo.
An honest note: this is an early build. Some classes, abilities and systems are still being put in, so expect rough edges. But the world grows every week, and the people in our Discord shape where it goes.
In development Runs in your browser. No download. Free in early access.
Ellaris uses old-school tab-target combat with auto-attack on a global cooldown. You pull, position, and manage your resource and cooldowns, the way classic MMORPGs play. Your action bar starts empty by design: you drag abilities onto it from your spellbook, and the layout you build persists.
Three classes are playable now in the early build: Ironward, a plate tank, Elementalist, a ranged caster of storm, tide and flame, and Veilkeeper, a support healer. Five more are on the way: Duskward, Wildstalker, Nightblade, Wildmender and Hexbinder. Whichever you choose, your class is just where you start, since everything in Ellaris is a skill you can learn from trainers.
Fourteen professions, split into gathering and crafting, learned out in the world rather than chosen at creation. Gathering covers Lodebreaking, Landworking, Foraging, Flensing and Angling, while crafting covers Forgecraft, Hidecraft, Weaving, Apothecary, Runescribing, Tinkering, Cookery and Salving. The fourteenth is Building, the profession that opens the world editor.
Yes. Every world in Ellaris is different, and our world editor lets creators build worlds of their own, from blocky voxel frontiers to lifelike kingdoms, all on the same engine the game runs on. In the world itself, leveling the Building profession unlocks a builder view to shape the land around you. What you build is real, persistent and shared, not a private sandbox. No other MMORPG does this.
Ellaris is free to play in early access and runs entirely in your browser. There is no download and no install, and any modern web browser works. Click play and you cross over.
Living AI NPCs are on the way. Ellaris comes from the makers of VoxelMind, the AI that already runs living NPCs in Minecraft today, and those AI inhabitants and companions are being brought into Ellaris so the world feels alive even when you play solo.
Everyone plays on one world and one global ladder, ranked by how far you have climbed through the eight worlds, your total XP, and your Elo. The only question that matters is who got the furthest. There are hundreds of achievements to chase, and the top of the ladder is enshrined in-game in the Hall of Fame for every newcomer to see.
