Install the launcher.
Run EllarisLegionArena-Setup.exe and follow the installation steps.
Start Ellaris Launcher.
The launcher downloads the game on first start and keeps it updated. Start Legion Arena when the download is ready.
Learn the controls, then play online.
Try the tutorial or local bot matches. Sign in with your Ellaris account for online play; create an account in the game if you need one.

Spend gold on the champion holding the front or on the troops changing the whole battle. Eight champions and four army paths offer different combinations. Standing orders keep the legion moving while you choose where to intervene.

The current Alpha targets Windows 10 and 11 on 64-bit PCs. Browser and mobile versions are not currently available. Performance and hardware needs are still being tested; there is no validated minimum GPU or RAM requirement yet.

Do I need an access code?
No. Download the Windows installer directly. Online play requires an Ellaris account.
Do I need to join Discord?
No. Discord is the community space for finding players, sharing feedback and getting help.
What does the button download?
EllarisLegionArena-Setup.exe, the Windows installer for Ellaris Launcher. The launcher downloads the game on first start and installs future updates automatically.
Why does Windows show a SmartScreen warning?
The Alpha installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show “Windows protected your PC.” For this installer, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Will I always face twelve human players?
The arena has four teams of three seats. Bots can fill open seats during the alpha. A full set of human opponents is not guaranteed.
